In July of 2019. I decide to continue writing my book. It is now December. I wrote four chapters since July making five chapters in total and created this website. I’m looking forward to the jungle island where the crew searches for their next treasure.
I have just finished Chapter 8. This was a fun chapter to write as I was able to have an exciting chapter on Volcano Island. I have been working diligently with Chole, my illustrator, and Besty, my editor. So far, we have done the first round of edits on chapter 1. This weekend I should be starting Chapter 9, where Tommy goes to the underworld.
Alright, It’s been some time but things are going great. I just moved out of the old place I was staying because of a bees nest in the house but I am moved into my new place and so far it has been awesome. I have been working hard with my editor on making corrections and my coworker told me about a program called Grammarly. It has been a great addition to the book and helped me make a lot of corrections. I have been using it for about 2 months now and it rocks! Even if you are not a writer I would suggest using it. I even used it while writing this blog. The new update they did last week has made the program faster and I think it finds more corrections. Hopefully, I have the chance to get around to chapter 9 this weekend.
We are getting closer. I have finished writing chapter 10 last week and now It’s time for the editing and Illustrations. I have decided to print 2 versions of the book. One with Illustrations and one without.
So after talking to different people, I redecided to only print one version of the book with Illustrations. I also decide to change the title of the book again to Treasures of Many. Good news is that I am halfway done my final edits and I bought a surface pen to do my own Illustrations so by the time the edits are done most of if not all of the Illustrations should be ready for the sale of the book. My goal is to get it out by the end of the month but I am not willing to sacrifice quality over time.
